Layali El Andalus is a Judeo-Muslim ensemble that evokes the spirit of golden-age Andalusia. Layali El Andalus is comprised of Muslim, Jewish and Christian musicians who bring to life a diverse repertoire of music from Morocco, the Middle East and Andalusia.
The Ensemble is led by Moroccan master musician Rachid Halihal who shares the stage with world class musicians such as Daphna Mor, Brahim Fribgane and Uri Sharlin. The band's repertoire focus on North African - Andalusian, chaabi, and genawa - but also expands to folk music from the Middle East and the Gulf area, classical Arabic music from Lebanon and Egypt, as well as Israeli and Sephardic Jewish music Rachid Halihal - Oud/Vocals,
