Experience a captivating evening of Indian classical music at Drom! There will be two sets to enjoy on this night.

For the first set, renowned sarod artist Sougata Roy Chowdhury will present a deeply expressive recital, accompanied on tabla by Ravi Venugopalan, known for his dynamic and sensitive accompaniment.

The evening continues with the second set: Carnatic segment led by violinist Siddharth Ashokkumar, joined by mridangam artist Akshay Anantapadmanabhan.

Sougata Roy Chowdhury is a leading sarod player of his generation, recognized for his lyrical style and strong command over raga development. Ravi Venugopalan is an in-demand tabla artist admired for his tonal clarity and versatility across classical and contemporary settings. Siddharth Ashokkumar is a Carnatic violinist known for his refined technique and emotive phrasing, regularly performing in major concert circuits. Akshay Anantapadmanabhan, a skilled mridangam player from Mumbai, is known for his finesse, strong sense of laya, and ability to enhance both solo and ensemble performances.
