Description
David Ecker is a New York-based jazz-composer, pianist, and recording artist. His work has garnered more than 200,000 streams and has been featured on Spotify’s Jazztronica playlist as well as Pandora’s Tomorrow’s Jazz station. His most recent album, Respite (Despite), was released in 2023 and features New York jazz mainstays Curtis Nowosad and Barry Stephenson.
Apart from his own music, Ecker has been a fixture in the independent music industry for the past decade, working on behalf of other artists first as a member of Spotify’s Indie Team and now through his Label Development role at the newly formed Exceleration Music Group.
Born and raised in Stamford, CT, Ecker now resides in Glen Rock, NJ with his wife and son.
