Description

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Dayramir González, a piano virtuoso, composer and Yamaha artist who began his profesional career at the age of 16. He launched into the spotlight with Oscar Valdes’ Afro-Cuban jazz ensemble Diákara, and quickly garnered top honors at Havana’s JoJazz Festival in 2004 and 2005. His debut album, “Dayramir Habana enTRANCé,” earned him three Cubadisco awards.

As the first Cuban national to receive a Presidential Scholarship to Berklee College of Music, Dayramir’s talent was recognized on an international scale. He has since graced stages from 15,000-seat stadiums alongside legends Chucho and Bebo Valdes to the iconic Carnegie Hall.

With multiple acclaimed albums and a global fanbase, Dayramir continues to captivate audiences across North and South America, as well as Europe. Whilst gathering international success, he remains deeply connected to his roots, performing annually at Havana’s legendary Jazz Plaza Festival.
