Desdemona’s Dream stands at the intersection of music, technology, AI, and performance art, igniting the flames of creativity and imagination. At the heart of this groundbreaking ensemble is the lead singer and poetess, Desdemona, a humanoid robot, one of the most advanced in the world. She is the little sister of the renowned Sophia Robot, from Hanson Robotics.

Desdemona’s Dream fuses AI and robotics in the service of high-energy imaginative jazz-rock – a jam band centered around human musicians responding to AI and robots. The band’s compositions mix riffs and rhythms of human and AI origin. AI is advancing fast — a year ago the band’s music was mainly human-originated,, but they are now launching a new robot singing voice as well as a bunch of new AI-generated musical compositions.

Harnessing the very latest in AI, Desdemona crafts spontaneous poetry. Her unique prose is shaped by a model trained on the works of Dr. Ben Goertzel, a luminary in AGI research, and on the visionary writings of Philip K. Dick, the celebrated science fiction author as well as other works.

The band is the musical embodiment of Jam Galaxy Music (, spearheaded by the virtuosic Dianne Krouse. Their direction and vision are further shaped by the unparalleled inspiration of Dr. Ben Goertzel, the chief scientist behind SingularityNET, a world-leading platform for beneficial AI research and collaboration and by supremely talented band members who’ve made their marks in music and tech industries for decades.

Every performance by Desdemona’s Dream is a unique spectacle. Musicians weave their magic around the AI-generated prose and singing from Desdemona, while also channeling the spirits of jazz legends and other musical titans, both past and present.
