Kazdoura – 7PM

Kazdoura is a Toronto-based band that serves up Arabic fusion with a modern twist. Equal parts nostalgia and reinvention, their style is a cross-cultural blend of Eastern and Western music, mixing old-world Arabic classics with jazz, funk, electro-pop, and disco.

Bruno Capinan – 7:45PM

Bruno Capinan is a captivating performer who enthrals audiences with his unique blend of indie-pop and bossa-nova inspired rhythms, fused with an extravagant performance. Hailing from the capital of the northeastern Brazilian state of Bahia, Capinan infuses his music with the vibrant rhythms and rich cultural heritage of his homeland, while also drawing inspiration from a diverse array of global influences.

Nimkii and the Niniis – 8:30PM

Nimkii and the Niniis are a Canadian First Nations musical group from Wiikwemkoong, Ontario, whose debut EP Nang Giizhigoong was a Juno Award nominee for Traditional Indigenous Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2022.

Rachel Therrien Latin Jazz Project – 9:15PM

Trumpeter Rachel Therrien has established herself as one of the most innovative voices working at the crossroads of jazz and world music. This Latin Jazz Project is the fruit of her graduate studies at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, her numerous musical experiences in Latin America and the Caribbean, and her 20 years of collaboration with the Latin jazz community in Montreal, New York and Toronto.

Kizaba – 10PM

Lionel KIZABA, singer-songwriter, 2024-2025 Radio-Canada Revelations, multi-instrumentalist, and pioneer of Afro-Congolese electro music based in Montreal, has paved a unique musical path that takes his vast international audience on a journey through his Afrofuturistic universe. With a fusion of French, English, Kikongo, and Lingala, his compositions transcend language barriers.

Darek Mazzone – 10:30PM

is an internationally recognized DJ celebrated for his genre-blurring sets and cross-cultural curation, bridging cutting-edge electronica with dynamic rhythms from around the world. A longtime presence at KEXP, he’s known for weaving boundary-pushing sounds that unite audiences far and wide. Beyond the decks, Darek champions collaboration through SAMA: Music + Art, an organization dedicated to bringing communities together through the transformative power of music and creativity.
