Description

Marilina Bertoldi is a rock powerhouse hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Through her commanding voice, gritty guitars, and powerful rhythm section, Bertoldi recalls the sound of bands such as Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, and the Foo Fighters with a dash of her own modern twist.

The infectious sound of Bertoldi’s music is never more apparent than in her new album, PARA QUIEN TRABAJAS Vol. 1. The new release teases a mix of high energy dance tracks like AUDIOESTIMA, as well as soft spoken ballads like POR SIEMPRE ES UN LUGAR. Longtime and brand-new fans alike are in for a treat, as Bertoldi brings her new music to the place where it is most comfortable: The stage.

Having already established herself in Latin music circles, with 3 Latin Grammy nominations, 4 Gardel Award wins (including being the 2nd woman to win Album of the Year), audiences should expect nothing short of a great show.

Mi Amigo Invencible is an 6-piece indie band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Labelled “Mendoza’s indie godfathers” by Sound and Colours magazine, the band crafts intricate, cohesive albums where each track will leave you tapping your foot. Mi Amigo Invencible keeps pace with other indie bands across the globe, fitting in with acts like Men I Trust and Dijon, but through its lush soundscapes and hypnotic vocals always brings something fresh to the table.

Even a year after its release, Arco y Flecha is a record that stays fresh in today’s fast-paced music culture. Tracks like Pantera are ear-candy that press against the chest with thick walls of synthesizers, only to be cut in half by the succeeding track Colinas’ acoustic guitar riffs. Fans of indie music from all walks of life are sure to find a piece of their repertoire that feels like it was written just for them.

Though they are already quite an established band in the Argentinian music scene, Mi Amigo Invencible’s newest music is only proof the best is yet to come. Though bigger is not always better, this 6 person musical experience certainly makes a good case in its favour.

Silvestre y La Naranja is a 4-piece indie-rock band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This band specializes in rhythmic, slick, catchy music that mixes Rock-and-Roll with Soul  and RnB. Whether it’s making hits, working a crowd, or playing a live show with a full brass section, the band does everything with a style and flair that screams “superstar.”

The band’s newest music is a rock-pop experience that sacrifices neither the rock, nor the pop. This 2-week old album is a masterclass in mixing genres and ideas that have populated record players, iPods, and Spotify playlists across the globe. Whether you’re looking for a magnetic dance track, or a head-bang worthy bassline (or a Marvin-Gaye style key change), you’ll be well taken care of by Silvestre y La Naranja.

This band’s street cred is nothing to scoff at, having played stadiums across Latin America, and selling out dates in Europe. Having this in mind, however, it is clear that Sylvestre y La Naranjas is still hungry to give audiences around the world something new and exciting to savour.

ZTVZ (pronounced Estévez) are a Latin pop duo & “Multi-instrumentalist Astrophysicist brothers from Puerto Rico.” Inspired by space, nature, and their Puerto Rican roots, ZTVZ creates electronic music that feels both timeless and futuristic.

ZTVZ seamlessly balances traditional EDM and electronic music with the sounds of dancehall and pop music, no more so than in their most recent release. With a sound both strikingly similar to FKJ, and Masego, yet also unlike anything else being released currently, tracks like 24 horas are both perfect for your next dance playlist, and for sitting down and playing on the biggest speakers you can get your hands on.

This band may be the new kids on the block, but there is nothing amateur about them. Being featured twice on Bad Bunny’s summer playlist, headlining New York Fashion Week for The Blonds (Beyoncé and Taylor Swift’s designers), ZTVZ is nothing short of a rising star and trailblazer in Electronic music, Dancehall, and according to their first record: intergalactic space travel to Alpha Centauri B.
