Rachel Sage and The Sequins
Vibrant, Chamber-Folk-Pop singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and activist Rachael Sage returns to Drom to celebrate her new acoustic album Under My Canopy. Accompanied by her sparkling band The Sequins, Sage – whose diverse collaborators and tour-mates have included Judy Collins, Rufus Wainwright, Ani DiFranco and Howard Jones – will perform her latest material alongside selections from her 20+ albums and EP’s, released on her own pioneering indie label MPress Records.
In addition to being a six-time Independent Music Award-winning musician and producer, Sage is also a John Lennon Contest Grand Prize winner who has performed at Edinburgh Fringe, SXSW, and toured globally from Japan to Berlin. An accomplished visual artist as well as a former dancer with The New York City Ballet, Sage is also a self-described “cancer thriver” whose advocacy includes Women’s Health and LGBTQ+ causes. Described by Vinyl District as an “unmistakable call for empathy and hope”, Sage’s music always brings a healthy dose of humor, uplift and inclusivity via one-of-a-kind, heavily improvised performances.

Cassandra Kubinski
Billboard-charting singer/songwriter Cassandra Kubinski has performed from stadiums to living rooms, from Romania to LA, sharing stages with or opening for Ben Folds, Goo Goo Dolls, 10,000 Maniacs, Sawyer Fredericks, Anna Nalick and others. Known for her piano-forward, cutting songwriting that takes listeners from vulnerable canyons to witty sharp peaks, her songs have been heard on Sirius XM, Lifetime’s “Dance Moms” and dozens of other TV shows, NBC promos and more. She’s also a tireless artist and womxn in arts advocate, holding board positions at Caffe Lena and Women in Music (emeritus), and regularly leading artist-upleveling workshops and retreats for the likes of the Mechanical Licensing Collective, Mayor’s Office of NY, and Guitar Center.
As an EDM and pop topliner, Cassandra works with international DJs and producers, penning tracks like “Oceans Away” with DJ Francis Mercier, remixed by Cossy (Spotify Viral Top 10 (Italy)) She is developing further high profile EDM work under artist name Darklight.
