Friday, September 5 2025 at 6:30 PM

DOORS AT 6:30PM; SHOW AT 7PM.

Join us at Drom for a special summer evening with Prinkipo, a vibrant ensemble that brings to life the rich musical traditions of Türkiye, Greece, and the Eastern Mediterranean. Experience the timeless warmth of Aegean tavern music. From the soulful shores of İzmir to the smoky tavernas of Piraeus, we invite you to a night where music, food, and culture come together in harmony.

Prinkipo Band will be performing timeless Turkish and Greek songs rooted in Rebetiko and Fasıl traditions — full of passion, nostalgia, and rhythm. Let the music flow with your raki or ouzo, while the melodies dance through the night.

This is more than a concert — it’s a cultural journey, a shared table, a celebration of the Aegean soul.

Based in NYC, Prinkipo features Fuat Caner Tokgozol (oud), Gilbert Mansour (percussion), Özlem Rozanitis (vocals), Sal Mamudoski (clarinet), and Bashar Farran (bass). Together, they weave a soundscape of rebetiko, folk, and classical melodies rooted in the region’s shared heritage. Their music, passed down through generations, evokes the spirit of seaside tavernas—where every note tells a story and borders dissolve into rhythm.
