Rini & Neel present a pulsing night of Bollywood, Tamil and original Indian fusion and pop music.

NJ-based singer, composer, and violinist Rini leads a cadre of international musicians, who draw inspiration from Indian classical music, electronica, art rock, and jazz to create ‘a powerful contemporary Carnatic/electronic fusion sound’ as described by Rolling Stone India. Harini “Rini” Raghavan has recorded and performed with Grammy-winning composers A.R. Rahman, Clay Ross, Idan Raichel and headlined festivals in the U.S. and India. Rini received a 2023 Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, is a part of the 2023 Grammy nominated record ‘Shuruaat’ by the Berklee Indian Ensemble and 2023 Global Music Awards Silver Medalist for her song ‘Magizhini’ with South Indian singer Shakthisree Gopalan. She performs across the United States with other projects as well like the multi disciplinary production ‘Bollywood Boulevard’, American Patchwork Quartet and Indo Warehouse.

“Rini draws on her decades of Carnatic music training and her years at Berklee, shifting South Asian classical elements toward pop and jazz sensibilities in a refreshing, organic way.” – Republic of Jazz
