New York-based Shiffley is comprised of Alex Ganes, Alex Jenks, Shaune Killough, Bryan Contreras and Kyle Banks. Bringing compelling lyrics together with synth-driven rock, Shiffley sounds as if Phoenix got in a bar fight with Franz Ferdinand, and Passion Pit had to break them up. They are celebrating the release of their latest album, WRATHLUST, streaming everywhere June 25th.
Morning Wars is the recording project of Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, Marc Ramos. Sonically, Ramos takes the essence of indie rock and melds it with elements from genres ranging from synth-pop to surf rock, soul and beyond. Taking cues from groups such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Cage The Elephant, The Killers and others alike, Morning Wars delivers arrangements with thoughtful lyricism, cavernous vocals, and a driving energy. Ramos has spent the last year fine tuning the sound of Morning Wars and solidifying its backing band members, priming the group for a season of electrifying live performances.
