Description
Making her much-anticipated New York City debut, powerhouse cellist, vocalist, and producer SADA takes the stage at DROM on October 7.
Known for her signature blend of Afro-Cuban roots and modern Jazz, Sada brings a personal, vintage-inspired sound that channels the golden era of 1920s–30s Cuba, wrapped in lush ChaChaCha rhythms and nostalgia. Her newest single, Como Quiero Yo, a romantic tribute to Cuban music and unjudged love, sets the tone for an evening of femininity and musical excellence. Sharing the bill are artists Emily Pandal, Rubina, Mercedes Gala, Taylor Shore, and Paola Cruz, a lineup curated to celebrate fierce, soulful women in music.
Presented by Sungate Records, this event is a first step in Sada’s journey into the NYC music scene, a must-see for fans of Buena Vista Social Club, Natalia Lafourcade, and those craving elegant, emotional storytelling through rhythm.
