After touring Europe in summer 2024, Tamara Jokic, a widely awarded singer and songwriter born in Serbia, comes back to New York, to Drom, to give us her own unique expression in the world music genre. With a profound dedication to Mediterranean culture, music, and languages, Tamara has collaborated with a constellation of world-class musicians and producers. Crafting a sound that seamlessly melds Mediterranean and Balkan influences, her music, presented with contemporary instrumentation and rooted in storytelling, serves as a bridge between her heritage and the world, offering a captivating fusion of Eastern sounds. Tamara performed in Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space, Kombank Dvorana in Belgrade, National Theater of Slovenia and many more.

 

Tamara will be accompanied by a cast of stellar, award-winning musicians, Tom Oren (piano) and Panagiotis Andreou (bass and voice). 
 
On December 6, she will be presenting a new repertoire composed of traditional music of the Balkans and original, unreleased music.
