The Energy is comprised of four members: Adam Wolfsdorf on vocals, Ian VanderMuelin on guitar, James Clifford on bass, and Zachary Thomas on drums. Starting out as a cover band, Furious George, the quartet switched to original music, with inspiration from U2, REM, and other influences they grew up with. Like their group name implies, The Energy writes and creates songs collaboratively, workshopping an original idea and fleshing it out. They’ve known each other for over 10 years, and that closeness has helped them understand which melodies they lean towards when working on new projects.
