Description

DJ Oleg Skrypka

Ukrainian music icon Oleg Skrypka is a singer, composer, producer, and DJ whose creative vision bridges tradition and modernity. Best known as the frontman of the legendary band Vopli Vidopliasova (VV), Skrypka helped shape the sound of contemporary Ukrainian rock by fusing folk melodies with punk, jazz, and world music influences.

As DJ O’Skrypka, he reimagines Ukrainian and global folk through vibrant “ethno-disco” sets that blend live instrumentation, electronic beats, and multicultural grooves. His performances have energized audiences across Europe, North America, and beyond.

Beyond the stage, Skrypka is the founder of major cultural festivals including Krayina Mriy (Land of Dreams) and Rock Sich, both dedicated to celebrating Ukrainian art and identity. Constantly reinventing himself, he continues to collaborate with artists worldwide and push the boundaries of genre, sound, and cultural connection.
