Experienced vocalist Irina Zubareva, known for her over two-decade-long career in jazz, made a name for herself in St. Petersburg before expanding her success across Europe. She relocated to New York in 2013. In 2021 she released her concert album “Bridges to Rio” on the American label Zoho. The album features renowned Brazilian musicians Itaiguara Brandao and Portinho, as well as Grammy-nominated pianist Misha Tsiganov, with whom she regularly performs. Inspired by their collaborations, Zubareva has created a new album that includes six original works from New York musicians and five arrangements by Tsiganov. With its contemporary jazz style, characterized by broad improvisations and dynamic rhythms, the album is sure to captivate discerning audiences.
