The Day Dreamers https://www.thedaydreamers.ca

Montreal’s dream-rock band The Day Dreamers are all about connection. Led by Ali Kouri, the female-fronted group entrances listeners with their honest, ethereal and introspective music. Their songs deal with memories, dreams, anxiety and growing up; Accessing multifaceted expressions of feeling that feel deeply personal, yet universal.   In 2019, The Day Dreamers put out their second record, Forever Again, with producer Dave Traina (The Damn Truth). Once again, the band’s sound was reinvigorated with energy, passion and an inability to precisely pin-point a specific genre. The band has been featured in national and international media outlets, alongside notable performances at Osheaga, Canadian Music Week and Ottawa Bluesfest.

Of The Brink https://www.thebrinkofmovie.com/
The Brink Of is a folk pop duo that became a band while making a movie about a band. Inspired by everything from iconic duos such as Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham, to indie romance films like Before Sunrise and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Brink Of exists at the crossroads of folk, bedroom pop, and indie rock.

E.J. Worland https://www.facebook.com/ejworland/

While EJ Worland is originally from Australia, his sound and soul is firmly planted in the roots of American vintage rhythm & blues, soul and the timeless grooves of Bill Withers, Sam Cooke, and Marvin Gay. His music takes no prisoners, pouring out emotions and feelings through sonic transmissions that take the listener on a raw, intimate journey filled with emotion, provocation, and personal agency. Worland’s voice may not sound “Australian” to most listeners, and therein lies the magic, as his strength and tenderness breaks boundaries and crosses oceans, reverberating on a level that transcends the tides of time. With style, swagger, and a humble sensibility, Worland’s music takes charge, grabs your heart, and drives you through a vibrant landscape filled with foot-stomping drums, heavenly hand-claps, and innovative intonations.
