Description
One of the oldest Russian rock bands performing at DROM’s stage! Founded in 1987, NOM brings an energetic performance with a unique and bizarre musical style! Their whimsical mix of electronic minimalism, hardcore, folk, and musical theater is combined with edgy, grotesque, and absurdist texts. Their unique style led critics to compare them to Laibach and Artemy Troitsky to dub them ‘the last bastion of ruthless Russian satire.’ No wonder their shows are so highly theatrical: they are also visual artists—’multrealists’ or ‘KOLKHUI (sorcery artists)’ group—and filmmakers who create wildly burlesque films often featuring playfully used sci-fi clichés (their latest film released last year).
